It is a completely free alternative to Global Entry and requires no pre-approval.

Download before you fly: Search for "Mobile Passport Control" in your app store and download it before leaving home.
Set up your profile: Enter your passport details and take a quick selfie for everyone in your travelling party. You can store multiple profiles on a single device.
Submit upon landing: Once your plane touches down in Florida, open the app, answer a few standard customs questions, and submit your form. You will receive a digital QR code valid for four hours.
Look for the MPC lane: Follow the signs in the immigration hall for the dedicated Mobile Passport Control queue. It is usually much shorter and faster than the regular line!
