About GoFloridaSmart

GoFloridaSmart is run by a UK family who loves Florida — we've planned, re-planned, and taken our own family trips to Orlando and beyond, and started this site to share the practical, on-the-ground things we've learned along the way.

We're not a travel agency and we don't work for any theme park. We're UK holidaymakers writing for other UK families, focused on the details that actually matter when you're planning a trip across the Atlantic: what to pack, how to budget in pounds instead of dollars, which resources are worth your time, and how to avoid the mistakes we made ourselves.

What we cover

• Tips — practical, tested advice for Orlando and Florida trips, written from firsthand experience.
• Resources — hand-picked hotels, restaurants, attractions and services we think are worth knowing about.
• News — updates on Florida theme parks and travel that are relevant to UK visitors planning a trip.
• Trip Planner — a free tool to help you organise your itinerary, packing list and budget in one place.

A note on affiliate links

Some pages on this site contain affiliate links (for example, to Amazon or Airalo). If you make a purchase through one of these links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products and services we'd genuinely suggest to our own family and friends.
